Sorry for being vague.
It's my 1/2 yearly polish and protect routine. I've already done this and was curious as to what generally people do. Here's the routine with a PC:
1. Edge2K yellow with IP on horizontal panels, 1 pass working about 5-8 minutes. 1/2 the time on speed 4 and other half at 6, slight pressure. Remove with 50/50 isopropyl alcohol/water.
2. Edge 2K blue with FPII on horizontal panels after IP/yellow and on vertical panels, 1 pass working about 5-8 minutes. 1/2 the time on speed 4 and other half at 6, light pressure. Remove with 50/50 isopropyl acohol/water.
3. Edge 2K blue with Klasse AIO, 1 pass working about 5-8 minutes. Speed 6, not pressure.
4. 1 layer of Klasse SG by hand.
5. 3 layers of Collinite 885 by hand.
Surface were very smooth after both step (1) and (2).
So my question was, am I too aggressive with yellow/IP: removing too much clearcoat? I was trying to remove some light water etches.
