Hi all, I decided to try completing a detail without my favorite polish and use #81 in its place on a customer car. I found this stuff a little finicky compared to my other polish and ran out of experimentation time so here's the question: If the car I am working on only needs a claybar, polish and wax, I usually polish with my Gem orbital and a cotton bonnet. Once the finish looks clean and the left over product dries I buff off with a MF bonnet
and then wax. The problem I found with #81 was that it was difficult to buff out. Perhaps I applied too much product? Once I was able to buff out the product (the test panel was the hood on a BMW) it looked perfect, no smearing, streaking and the finish was deep and glossy. Can anyone share their tips on how to use this great product?
Thanks!!
