Meguiars #26 Liquid Wax

I recently discover that my local Canadian Tires has this product in stock, along with #6, #7, and #46 (something like that). It is rare for me to see because they do not usually carry the Meg's Professional Line. My question is, how does this wax stack up to other (i.e. NXT) and is it worth the $15CAD or so that they are selling?

i love liquid #26, much better then NXT! Really easy to work with but can be a pain to wipe off if you apply is too thick. It does not leave the oily spots on my red honda like NXT did. IMO, it was definately worth the $12USD I paid for it.

I like it a lot. It's one of the easiest waxes to buff off, and it is nice and wet looking, while noticeably darkening the paint. Haven't tried applying it via PC yet.

It's a definite buy! For the price, you cannot beat the durability, ease of application, and the fact that it adds GREAT depth.

Pick some up today!

Liquid 26 is a very easy on/off wax that works great on all colors. Durability is also very good and is waaaaay better than NXT and the shine/wetness lasts longer as well.

I'm glad to see the favorable reviews of one of my all time favorites.

Recently I've been topping NXT with #26 liquid with great results.

What is the durability of #26 liquid?

How does it compare with 845 and liquid Souverän in terms of looking and durability?

Thanks !!

#26 has medium durability, about 2-3 months. Definitely not as long as 845, but looks better than 845 IMO, since it darkens the paint a little bit and has a little more wetness to it. Never tried Souveran, so I can't comment on that.

#26 on top of NXT would look good. NXT has cleaners and fillers that would help prep the paint and also adds some sealant protection.

Remember, when NXT is oiling out of the emulsion and leaves patches, it is from a defective batch. Not the fault of the NXT itself. #21 had exactly this difficulty. Megs will replace it.

I used to use this exclusively as my top coat until I found FMJ. Great shine and rich color. I actually used to layer it on top of NXT. Plus it smells like bananas.

Had a friend that used #26 on his Ford Bronco. Excellant shine. Very good liq wax. Easy to use. One of the top Liquid wax LSP's. The more you use it the easier it is to apply and remove. His Bronce look like a mirror.

Does #21 still have that problem? I am about to buy some soon.

I don't think so...it's been some time since its been resolved. If a stockist still has some old product that's dodgy, Megs will replace it for you.
