6.5" on a 6" plate? No problemo.

Really? I expect it to be somewhat of a squeeze. You would get better control, even though not the extra space from 7.5 pads.

I use the 6" flex BP with the 6.5" CCS pads, great combo, plenty of room for "Bp cusion".....

Thanks guys!!

Awesome.

You consistently turn out stunning details and they are a pleasure to read and the pictures are magazine quality.

Any big advantage versus say 7.5 Curved Edge pads (are Curved Edges really that good)? 6.5 Pads would be more control, and pure flat pads.

I guess it really depends onyour process/personal preference. I don't like curved pads such as the VC pads from LC. IMO, flat pads are the way to go via rotary, or otherwise. I like the smaller pads becasue they off me more control and I only have to buy one set of pads for the rotary and pc.

Links to where you can buy the paint protection film? Does it come in a roll? Price? Thanks in advance.

You can purchase ready-fit kits from xpel.com. We have a plotter and cut the kits from a bulk roll(this is about a 10K investment for software, plotter, etc).

Hmm I'll probably order the bulk roll. I don't need to get fancy, I have a muscle car that I'll be doing basically square pieces for the front dam and behind each wheel well. What is the application process? Is it removeable after being applied, like can you put it on and off however many times you want?

I would have a professional install it. It looks easy, but *trust me*, it is very difficult. Even seemingly easy, flat panels are not so easily covered. You can remove the film at any time--simply pull it off (it takes a bit of umph).

Cool thanks Joe. If only Edge had a similar system! PPF is NOT easy at all, takes certain environments and all the quality lays on the shoulders of the installer.
