Vegetarian dish I made for a special request tonight. Tart with creamed leeks, curried turnips and parsnips, Swiss chard, toasted barley and garlic broccolini. On the plate- butternut squash purée, a braised shallot, roasted beet, glazed carrot. Blood orange vinaigrette and a beet agrodolce.

She was happy.

I've officially had the Be-all and End-all of all burgers, called "The Butchers Burger"! This butcher's burger is made with a 3-4 oz medallion of filet mignon, 2 sauteed jumbo bay scallops, fresh saffron hollandaise, a sunny side egg, sauteed wild mushrooms, bacon jam, confetti of Red Tobiko caviar with a drizzle of truffle oil all resting between 2 Artisan bread buns.

My mouth liked it more than my eyes... :D

Ron, i have to ask , is there a kitchen in your House? or did you turn it into a man cave ?

Contrary to popular belief...... There is a kitchen.

If I had my way my perfect house would be
2bed rooms
2 bathrooms
Living area (tv/entertainment room)
Man Cave
8 car garage + 1 detail bay + 1 lift area

Are the kitchen cabinets and pantry full of detailing products though? B)

i try to avoid this thread because it always makes me want to break my dietary discipline with all the delicious crap ya'll post.

Epic Breakfast Poutine: 1.5 Lbs of potatoes, 160g of curd cheese, 12oz of Hollandaise sauce, 1lb of mixed meats (bacon, chorizo, breakfast sausage, bologna sausage, ham, and Italian sausage), with four over easy egg's!

What your wife have?
My wife was hung over from the Work Chrismas party last night and stayed home. I took my mom out for breakfast as it was our first day of our Christmas vacation (from work). We both happened to want to try a benedict poutine and saw this obseen dish for less than the cost of two seprate plates and figured "let's indulge"...

My Work Chrismas party (last night) was over the top - Open bar, as well as this massive piece of beef (my wife was totally into it). All on the 37th floor (top floor) of the Sheraton Center in Montreal.

This thing must have weight 70-100lbs and it was cooked to perfection!

The panoramic views of the city were stunning

M wife looking at me waiting for them to start slicing that huge hunk of beef :)

I would post what I eat but I think nobody would be impressed....

Basic ingredients for every meal include- complex carbs (brown rice, whole grain oatmeal or sweet potatoes mostly), lean protein (chicken breast, tuna, salmon, egg whites) and healthy fats (olive oil, alvacodos, peanuts) and lots and lots of veggies..

We fixed that ad DF :D
