Lunch/dinner thread.



not a great pic... But something I made today. Grilled vegetable terrine with olive pistou, arugula salad and Asiago black pepper lavash. In the terrine is heirloom carrots, roasted red and yellow bell peppers, asparagus, eggplant, tomato confit and portobello's- set with a tomato water aspic, wrapped in squash and zuchinni(broiled)).

Didnt sell well any but I thought it came out nice.

I have a rule when I cook a big fat steak like that and it comes out of the broiler looking really nice... I yell out- pretty much at the top of my lungs- "Thats a NICE lookin' steak right there, boy!"

Made myself a big bowl of pasta tonight. Fresh pasta(store bought), crema I mushrooms and a garlicky balsamic pomodoro sauce, finished with fresh sage and basil. Topped with plenty of Parmesan, black pepper and olive oil. And of course, garlic bread! Good thing the gf is at her place for the night...



and to drink? Just arrived today as part of my Tasting Room order...
