Looking for a cost-effective wheel well dressing

For wheel wells on customers cars & especially trucks I use the tire shine from the Dollar Tree store. I put it in an old paint sprayer that I hook up to my compressor.

32 oz is a dollar and 1 bottle is enough to do 5 4x4s ( big ) tires and wheel wells... Its also great dressing for lower grills and under bumper air dams.

Also being water based it dries and doesn't sling.

The sprayer it comes in works but isn't great so if your going to apply it out of the bottle swap out the sprayer.

I been using this about 2 years now and have great feedback because its not to blingie on the tires.

i bought some of this stuff since some suggested it and after a use or two, in the trash it went. i would rather spend a dollar in a half more and just buy a can of AA tire foam. some have had decent/good results with it, but i'm not one of them...

Maybe you didn't clean the tires .. or apply it right .. right out of the bottle isn't great thats why I swap out the sprayer but I prefer the paint sprayer on the compressor. Never had a problem with it this way ( compressor ). You also need to shake it well. All the tire foams are is a cover up. It doesn't work well over dirty tires or other slimey dressings.

i applied it without an air compressor and used a tire applicator. i did apply it right, but i don't like it and even for a $1, it's not worth it (wouldn't of threw it out if i could at least use it on the wheel wells). i would rather spend a little more money and get something i know that works...

Ok .. sorry I suggested it ... works for me on over 300 vehicles ... nice matte to gloss finish depends on how many layers .. doesn't sling .. matter of fact the S2000 I used it on yesterday was applied from the bottle and spread with a cheap yellow foam kitchen scrubbie.

But back on track ... makes a great wheel well dressing if applied via paint sprayer and compressor.

nothing wrong with suggesting it if it works out for you, IME it wasn't for me even at only a $1...
