Well, I'll start off with the camaro. Ended up getting there at about 5 PM, and noticed it was still on jackstands, in a very messy, single car garage. I decided to just suck it up and work around it, because its a very high profile customer, but normally, I would have walked away right there.
Car has a stroke kit of some sort and has a 250 shot waiting to go on. Right now without any nitrous or other power adders, its running at 500whp. Very nice.
I didn't get to complete the car due to time and weather constraints, so please don't mind the back bumper (was getting rained on, so only the first stage of compounding was done, so its hazy), and the rims/hood aren't entirely complete. Hood was faced with some hazing issues, and the rims were just wiped down due to the shortage of time.
I'll go back once it gets back from exhaust, (having some big *** SLP tips up out the back clip).
Process:
-Automagic Synthetic cut via rotary and yellow cutting pad.
-PB SSR2.5 via PC cutting pad
-Since I'm waiting on my Optimum, I purchased some mild abrasive from automagic (I'm not sure of what it is) via rotary
-SSR 2 on everything except for the hood (need to complete it).
-Souverean
-Dress It Right on tires (dear god I love the look, and 2 month durability)
Befores: (It was late already, so time was a factor)
Can tell its a track car
Nasty swirls and hazing from cloths being dragged around on it.
And afterwards at 1 am!
