Lambo!

I know, it seems weird that a 1.8L motor could keep up, but the car is only 2500 pounds, and it has a close ratio six speed gearbox to help it along. Mod for mod, mustang wins hands down - but the celica can be a somewhat quick car. A way bigger pain in the butt to keep it up in the rev's though - if you fall out of lift (under 6k rpm), you're pretty much toast in a race. Good thing is, with intake/exhaust it's around 170-175hp at the wheels. With only 2500lbs, it makes for pretty snappy driving. I still won't try to race mustangs, way too easy to lose unless they're completely stock and my driving is perfect.

PS - don't let that blinker fluid get low, you could ruin your muffler pulleys!!

It seems that a lot of you hating on the Celica like American cars. It's fine, there's really nothing wrong with that but before having such negative thoughts on a car, you should drive one just for the heck of it...it might surprise you. It's a very fun car to drive. I for one like Japanese cars over American since reliability is very very important to me. What's the point of having a car with 50000HP if it won't last that long??

By the way...that Celica looks awesome!!!!!! :up

Thanks guy. :)

Well I own a low 12 second domestic street car and I will flat out say it...I like the Celica and it is impeccably detailed to boot. :bigups

Damn the haters on both sides of this stupid import / domestic arguement.

lambo doors on something other than a lambo = extremely broken wrists. the interior looks nice though... but it is a car that is relatively new so i'm guessing it wasn't in too bad of shape, but regardless. it looks nice. good job.

It wasn't bad, but the pop didn't help the matter much.

I don't like lambo doors on Celicas that much but you can't really call a car rice because of that. ScubaStevo you did a really nice job on your friend's Celica!!!

But seriously guys go and drive a Celica for at least 10mins and you'll see how much it kicks butt!
