Just ordered the Ultima Sampler Kit

The wife's truck just takes too long to keep in good shape. The single coat of Vintage I applied back in May is finally just about gone. Rather than worry about having to wax it often during the winter, I figured I'd give the new Ultima sealant a try.

While I wait for it to show up, I'd love to hear everyone's comments about how good this stuff is. I've seen the pictures of how it looks (which really is beautiful), so what I'd really like to hear about is the other stuff: how's the durability? Do environmental contaminants (tree sap, tar, bird bombs, bug guts, road salt, etc.) penetrate through the sealant, or does it appear to offer good protection? How easy does Ultima clean up? Does it look good (come clean) after a touchless wash?

And since it's going to be my winter time LSP for her suv, it's going to be applied after an ONR wash. Any problems there with ONR reducing durability, or any other problems?

Winter in Utah is really hard on cars. The state uses a combination of sand and salt on the roads. It really eats through LSP's fast.

Durability I can't answer yet but can say that my July application panel is still going strong on the mini van hood. It's been across the country and back and the bugs cleaned away easily.

The protection level I would rate as very good. It resists water spotting and again bugs clean up easily. My wife works in what is a really poor environment for paint. She's just outside the port of L.A., next to the train tracks, refinery and dozens of trucks drive by where she parks everyday. To boot it sits outside 24/7 and I don't get to wash it often(4-6 weeks).

I've never seen a touchless wash around these parts.

I have a box full of Ultima (full size bottles) sitting in my garage.

As soon as my Audi gets here next week I'm doing the full treatment, probably next weekend.

Will post my thoughts with pics.
