I'm not familiar with Zaino nor their CS dept, and it's not an excuse for how the rep was rude to you but I'm gonna guess the rep was just having a bad day, maybe it was late in the day, who knows. I worked for years as Help Desk assisting hundreds of CS reps and as nice as I was (I was one of the most-liked Help Desk analyst by the reps) I have to admit that sometimes, with some of the reps I had to be a bit short and to the point to resolve the situation in the quickest manner possible. It's a repetitive job where you answer the same questions day in, day out so eventually it gets to the best of reps.
If a company was not known for their customer service, you'd hear a lot more complaints about it. So IMO you got bad service from one rep, but it doesn't necessarily mean the company as a whole is bad.
Every time I go to McDonald's, 4 out of 5 times they will screw up my order when I ask for 2 double cheeseburgers, 1 with no pickle or ketchup. The funny part is there's a sticker on the outsaid that says, "Double Checked for Accuracy", so it takes 2 idiots to screw up my order. I could get pissed off about it and never give them my business again, but apparently they must do something well enough if I still go back to them. Same thing with Walmart. These people you're dealing with have $hitty jobs that pays minimum wage. I just give them a break because there's bigger things to worry about in life than whether the kid at Mickey D's messed up my cheeseburger.
