The reality is that these photos were taken when the sun was highlighting the problem(s) the worst. If someone comes in to the dealer on an overcast day, the car might look fine. That's not to say that this isn't a hack job, but you have to admit it's being highlighted pretty well there.
What kills me about GM dealers is that they seem to think it's perfectly fine to place wheel weights on the FACE of wheels where they're most visible, and they usually do it with a hammer so removal ends up in a permanent mark on the wheel.
