Got a new PC7424 today and am a bit dissipointed.
When I gently shake the head of the tool I hear a fait but noticable click-click-click-click. When I grab the pad and make the orbiting motion (think karate kids wax-on-wax-off), I can make the same clicking sound when I reverse orbiting direction.
Sounds like the gear that causes the pad to orbit (not spin) has a bit of slop in it.
Make the tool shound cheap. Are all porter cable buffers like this or do I have a defect?
the old black and decker drill sound was a bit suprising as well.
