I found myself in an odd situation this morning. I've known the hose for my steam washer has been in bad shape for months now. Its at least 5 years old and has some really worn places from being dragged across the floor and being ran over all the time. In fact there are belts showing in a couple spots. I've said for a long time I'm going to replace it but never have. The hose was laying in the floor in front of the machine and like normal I stepped over it with one leg to kick the washer on. With the flip of a switch, 3000 psi of water pressure passing through a hole the size of a pencil led got me square in the money makers. I found myself in the floor curled up in a ball, soaking wet and couldn't get up to shut the pump off. Needless to say my day has gotten off to a horrible start.
