I'm back and better than ever! New Infinity G35X Black Swirled

Thanks Bryan! I remember it was you that told me about these super hard clears and to look for the sticker. I knew when 105 wouldn't make a single dent in it, it was harder than hard.

I was shocked at how crystal clear the car was when I inspected it in the sun. It was pretty bad at the start. The customer even inspected in the sun and said he could not see a single flaw. He said it was absolutly brilliant. I am sure he will come on and make a few comments on my work.

The before pics do not show how bad it really was. I will redo all the pics later today and blow them up.

I'm alittle confused. You say 105 wouldnt make a dent, but then in your process, you say you used SIP? So did you use 105 followed by SIP or just SIP?

I only ask, because I have a G with the same sticker on it.

Thanks

It would not work as perfect as it normally does on other cars. I had to do some mixing to come up with the perfect solution. It was more of the rotary technique than anything to make it perfect.

I know I have had some top pros here email me about this particular paint and it's problems. I did talk to a rep from 3M and he even said that Infinity/Nissan has had some issues with this new paint and some of them are defective.

Thanks for the reply rydawg. Not the anwer i was hoping for, but atleast there is some hope since you were able to make that G look great.

Just curious what your process was for this detail. I just bought a 2006 M45 Sport Red and would like any tips you could give me. Thanks for the help in advance.
