...do you also believe that #82 fills in swirls better than PP or MP?

I'm not really familiar enough with #82 to make that call. But it wouldn't surprise me (but note that it's basically non-abrasive, at least the MP has a *little* cut). *I* don't think the PP/MP really fill in swirls all that well; topping them will a "heavy" wax like #16 helps a lot in that department. FWIW, #16 over Autoglym's SRP is my "other people's cars" combo, but it wasn't among your options. So for swirl-hiding, the #82/NXT combo might well be the way to go.

I based my recommendation (MP/GW) on a number of factors, including how the finish would look, for how long, and the amount of work involved. *I* would still consider topping it with a *very* quick coat of #16- people are always *very* impressed with the beading and it would help the GW last longer.

I have AIO, S100, and the GEPC (actually I have the S100 version of GEPC). I have used both AIO w/S100 and GEPC w/S100 and could not really tell any difference....both looked great. I voted GEPC w/S100 because of the continuity of product lines. Since my car was almost new and had just been clayed I saw no real advantage in using the AIO over the GEPC. If I was detailing an older paint I would probably prefer the AIO w/S100 combination.

I am surprised by a couple of things in this poll.

1) That MP + GW did not do better

2) That #82 + NXT did not do better

3) That AIO + S100 did so well!

How about: EO wet, Clay Magic, EO wet, DACP (if nessisary), SFP, GEPC, EX-P (2-3x), S100 on a Milano red Civic?

:D

(about 8 more steps then you were looking for) lol

I thought I was nuts to switch from NXT and #82, but I gave Klasse a chance. I clayed my car, then put the AIO on. I was like nice! Then, I put the sealent glaze on and left it on overnight. I removed it and my jaw droped! I have melange metalic paint and #82 and NXT NEVER made the metalic stick out 3D or make it so deep and glassy. Then, I decided what the hell do it again, then again and it kept getting better. 3 coats of SG. Then, I put the P21S on and it made it shinny as helllll! I put 2 coats of that on.

I have my boss begging me to do his car now. I just did a guys 69 Corvette at work. Never has anybody when I was using other products come up to me and be so impressed.

Honestly, The best product I have ever used for anything!

Oh sheesh, I just realized that I confused #82 Swirl-Free Polish with #81 Hand Polish :doh

But anyhow, I still don't think *anything* brings out metallic effects quite like 1Z polishes. Having done side-by-side comparos with Audi silver, anyone who's thrilled with AIO/SG oughta give the 1Z/4-Star UPP combo a try. I had the S8 at the dealership yesterday and everyone was all :shocked :bow even though I was trying to say how *crappy* I think it looks due to the deer-incident repairs. It looked a *lot* nicer than the new cars in the showroom, that's for sure. I gotta give the credit the 1Z/UPP.

I prefer the 1Z Glanz look over the AIO/SG but I recently tried 1Z Wax Polish Soft and it is now my favorite. I had used S100 over my AIO/SGx3 combo and it loooked great but this Wax Polish Soft product somehow takes it to a new level. I won't be using S100 anymore on my cars.
