This is my first post and I just had to vent. I'm not a detailer, I'm a guy who loves to clean his car. I have been using the P/C 7424 for about a year now on my 2006 Mazda MX-5.
I recently traded that car in for a black 05 Corvette. This vette is really nice with only 3 thousand miles. There was some slight surface cobwebbing and minor surface scratching so I sent a couple of private messages for advice and off I went with Menzerna 106FF .
I was very hesitant about polishing this car because of it's value. A Mazda is one thing but a vette is in another category. I thought maybe I should leave this to the pros. Well, I've done it now. I must have picked up a small stone on my pad and layed down some nice scratches on my right front fender. Lets see, how fast can I take the fun out of a new fifty thousand dollar car. I'd say between 5-6 on the 7424! Never Again.
