I just ordered Vintage

oh yeah lbls1 SOM is my FAVORITE color on a f-body. if i were to color change my formy it would become between sunset orange metallic and tangerine kandy.





are you on LS1TECH?

Yeah, I too just *love* that color...I hadn't related it to the old MOPAR GoMango, maybe that's where I picked up my appreciation of it :think:



A Daytona huh!?! Very cool...I had its cousin, the Superbird (I had a thing for 1970 model year MOPARS and the Superbird was my final indulgence).

Hey thanks guys, Supe!!....didn't really mean to hijack, but I had all of this wax on, and it was the end of the season, plusI've already started a couple of threads on autopia so I figured just a little slip of the vanity button.



GGK I do visit ls1tech.com. Actually I was planning of putting out my collection of pics during the late summer on tech, but somehow I lost the nerve. A lot of big personalities over there (its a good board but you know how internet boards in general can be) and while I don't mind constructive criticism, I wasn't ready yet for the "gotta lower and tint" comments. One of these days though...

yeah i got the tint comment when i posted.

i also got the you should get some new wheels. people just dont like 16's any more(even though they are simmons 3 pieces).



id post pics but it need a detail. really it needs fixed(damn bad drivers backing out without looking).
 
so i have tried vintage a few times now, i have 2 coats on mycar, a coat on my brothers, a coat on my mothers. A friend is getting his done today. Vintage is amazing. One thing I really like about it is how eaily it cleans. (as superbee said). I was impressed with the intial impresion but once i went to wash the car with the wax on it was amazing. I do onr washs and the car was almost dry, even the onr water mix would slide off.

the wax looks amazing, but think the big this is the cleaning, beading, and sheeting. Its something i have never seen before, even from concours.



Thanks everyone who recomended it, i am sure glad I bought it. Well worth the money, 2 weeks after first application.



I will keep you posted as to how everything plays out

he car was bugging me... it was dirt inside and out, i hare dirty cars. If im going to ride in it i want it clean :rofl .. plus i thought it would bea nice gift as a congrats on his first car.. you only get one first:eek:

That definitely looks fishy. I hope no one will buy that, bc it may end up being a complication with Zymol (legend has it that they do not approve of their products being sold on ebay).



Besides, If I'm spending the 1800 bucks, then it really won't make that much of a difference in buying it from zymol. I'd rather spend the money and have the refill policy intact than to spend almost the same amount and then risk getting scre(socked!)d.

That IS the same pic! Absolutely no doubt. What a bozo! You'd think he'd at least take another pic for his eBay ad :rolleyes: But who knows, maybe he doesn't actually have the wax to take another pic!



It would be very interesting to know the whole story from his standpoint, but I guess that'll never happen............

yup sure did.. somewhere in teh 67 pages its all explained... but basicly i ordered from him, i waited and waited, didnt come. I tried contacting him to no response.

I launched a CC investagtion, got my money re-ordered it from zymol, (in the end cheaper beacsue of shipping) got it in like 2 weeks, not 2 months,



Ocd finnaly contacts me aout 1 month after the e-mails, says it was stuck in customs and that it needed an msds sheet (i have important thousands of dollars of detail crap and have never needed them.. anywho). I told him i no longer wanted it. I had goten my money back, re-ordered, and recived my wax before he even contated me. :idea



I also called zymol asking it had been ordered, they said they had no record. They also contacted there resllers who have no record of ocd ordering it.



so i told brett i would not accept it. He said he had called customs and got them to ship it back to him.



so i dunno if its the same guy or not. All i know is the pictures look odly close. :chuckle:
 
Wow, this guy is a complete douche! It looks like he's trying to sell under a different business. I hope the moderators make this a sticky to warn noobs about purchasing from this fraud!
