agreed she is not a pro but i have people i detail for that cant tell the diff and they are car nuts so i am proud of her

now when she can tell a diff between souveran and megs 16 then she is doing ok. IMO it is easy but people dont see it that way

OK. I think you're problem may be solved. Get your soveran can, lose the souveran, and whala! But.....she'll want you to wax her car much more often when she sees the fake souveran go on won't she??

most likely she likes it shiney she doesnt know about depth/wetness/protection

I guess and important thing is how much durability will i get from a coat of vintage. i mean all the cars are garaged so that will help. i can tell ya this souveran didnt last at all

Supe says that vintage is like armour. I kind of figured it would be with that high of a concentrate. I've heard Miracle detail say the same thing somewhere. I've yet to test its durability, but you should see how it scats and beads water! It does last a long time, as the signature car wasn't anywhere near ready to give up last year's accumulation when I prepped it for the new application of vintage this year.

sov sucks in terms of durability. it just dosent last. I have used a few zymol products. i know i have goten 4 weeks from titanium and it was still going but it needed to be stripped.

The conours on the jag has lasted well over amonth and is stil great. its a garage queen so its not a real test but i know the zymols i have used have far exceded the sov

It was YOU lol I was watching that if it was around 200 I would have jumped but 300 was a little too much for me

I think I had an edge, because the auction ended at midnight, hawaii time. Coincidently the seller was also from Hawaii. I just got it today. Will look good on my new baby that I'm picking up tomorrow!!! Perfect timing

whatcha getting?

and you need to post a million pics. you have a new ride and a new wax. i think that deserves atleast 100 pics :bounce

ohh,. also for those who use vintage. What contanor do you use when actully waxing. i was thinkin of scooping some out into an old zymol contanor.. might as well keep it in the family. The only problem is it has a small crack... hmm i wonder if zymol will sell me an empty contanor..ok back to the question. what do you put it in while doing the actual waxing?

Yup, I'm so excited at the timing. Great wax on a great car. But I'll show you guys WHEN I get the car. Don't want to spoil the fun. :grinno:

Hi Calgary,

I have had Vintage since March of this year and it gets better the more you layer it (Like others have said), you will not be dissapointed with the finish.

I scope out about 2 Oz and put it into an old Zymol Detail pot as this is easily enough to do four layers and easily fits in you pocket.

Can't wait to see your pics, on here or DW

What is a zymol detail pot? I have only seen detail in spray bottles
