Might depend on the silver, but I can say that with Audi silver my wife can spot differences between certain LSPs quite readily, and she and I can both see *big* differences between LSPs on the Jag's sorta-silver ss lacquer. You might be surprised ;)

lbls1- Heh heh, yeah, if I liked it as much as you expect I'd be bummed, as life's too short to use it on all the accumulated vehicles :D Life might be too short to use it period, at least at the rate I'm getting around to the Jag and RX-7 :o

Accumulator...........it'll change your world........lol!!!

Heh heh/Edit: 16 pages..........for a wax that is hated so much (on the outside, but begged for so much in the pm lol...I couldn't resist it) this should be a internet record or sumethin'.

its not even an autopia record..but we need to keep this somewhat on topic so they dont shut us down...

i was wondering whats the best way to use vintage.. is it better to let it sit for 5 min like they say or just wo/wo?

im sure i wull end up trying both but im curious since i dont have it yet

Just like concours. You should apply it to half of a hood, or a fender and door, quarter panel, trunk and rear bumper. Then methodically take it off with a staged take down with (three cotton and/or mfs) towels. Its softer than concours, but it isn't like, for example, mother's cg wax or any other soft wax. It takes a little bit of effort and concentration to take it down.

Think it'll hit 200?

Oh btw I liked that photo. Its like seeing your car or something on an assembly line. Its like having the owner in on the making process. Much unlike what I went through. It was like "wham, bam, thanks pigeon for the money" over the phone; And I got the wax the next day. I was like.....they wanted my money really bad lol!!!

lol i have searched may times.. i get bored and look for zymol and swissvax videos.. your not alone

Diesel, I ordered from Zymol over the phone. I called them two days b4 making up my mind. I spent two days wrestling with the issue, and I caved in and ordered.

I recently got my refill (first one) two weeks ago.

Mike: Yup its no big deal. By the time you apply the wax a few minutes would've gone by, so no need to wait. I know you'll really like it. Its hard to imagine anything beating concours. Just observe very very closely and with good digital pics.

By your third or fourth session................................damm you'll see.

Edit: Diesel and Mike. Good point. Its a great idea to scoop up Vintage into a smaller container as opposed to working out of the block of ice. That way you can fool others around you that don't know you spent 2k on wax (well may not necessarily apply to you Mike), and I found it easier to work with than lugging the ice around. Just think, you can make people think that you use, for example, p21s (which looks uncannily like Vintage) when in fact its an empty container filled with wonderfully concentrated, manufactured white carnauba (oh please don't start that one....)!

A little over a year. Can't really emphasize how much I enjoy the results. That's why I'm excited for Mike and his wax that's on the way.

We have to start another thread on the Vintaaaaaghhe results, starting with Mike! I know we'll take down Accumulator with that one lollllll!!
