I compared Zaino to Klasse

This sure has erupted into a p!$$ing contest.

I think it is admirable that Chris compared something he sells (which I did not know until it was pointed out) to another popular product. I didn't detect any Zaino bashing at all. When I evaluate products, dusting really isn't something I am concerned with unless it continues after the first wash. I have a problem with Souveran dusting, but I like the look enough to keep using it and after the first wash it isn't an issue.

Besides, Chris never posted this review then concluded with "Zaino sucks, buy Klasse from me because it is the best". In fact, he really doesn't state which is 'best' just what he prefers.

So it was at least relevant that he's a vendor and makes money off the product he says doesn't collect dust, and the other product does. He has a right to hard sell his stuff and I have the right to point out that he is a vendor. I didn't even chime in until the bottom of the fourth page after about 15 posts by eshine! I hope ya'll, even eshine, have a great night. Watch the new tom hanks movie the terminal its really cool. Q

Burlyq,

I couldn't help but respond.

You just don't get it. Zaino already had a distributor in Canada. It cound be ordered online from Canadian sources. Klasse couldn't and didn't have distributor as well as his other products.

The fact he sells Klasse hasn't nothing to do with it! This isn't webcars or any other forum or website where vendor's pushing products skews the testing and information that we all share.

The mods here have a low threshold for that, and rightfully so.

If there is any question as to who is a Vendor or not, Autopia is now requiring all vendors to identify themselves in their signature. We can not post our URL or what we sell but our signature must state who we are and where we are from. Hopefully this avoids this type of confusion in the future. Have a good night guys/gals.

It is relevant with respects to his willingness to try another product even though he doesn't sell it. Better than a vendor who tries to act like no other products even exist.

I have yet to see Chris try and hard sell anything.

I've only read bits and pieces of this thread. If Burly is stating that vendors may or may not have ulterior (financial) motives, he is EXACTLY correct. Vendors should identify themselves in the signature section if they wish to have any credibility with consumers, like myself. Burly is about as eloquent as some junior high students -- but he's making a valid point.

EShine-

Suppose you had arthritis and you came to a forum to discuss VIOXX. Would you like to read forum advice from someone who secretly worked for Merck?

Please, all vendors should identify themselves in the Sig.

Alan, eShine is identified as a vendor via his sig.

His signature consists of two words: "eShine Canada." Without any URL or any other description, how is the average consumer supposed to know that he sells detailing products? I know that Microsoft makes computer software; am I supposed to know that "eShine Canada" sells detailing products?

Vendors cannot link their websites in their sigs, just like I can't link my site, even though I am a professional detailer. I guess his company name isn't as obvious as Meguiars or Mothers.

..more carefully and these threads more closely.

I do not think so, but we can as a group place him our ignore list. Unfortunately he needs to be monitored because of his out-in-left-field detailing comments.

He would be my first if he wasn't so entertaining and uninformed.

Im starting to see why he was banned over at DC, can we vote people off the island?

He was banned at DC for dissing a Mod. The Mod warned Burly not to disrespect the Fuzz again. A couple posts later Burly does it again. He was quickly banned. The dude asked for it and got it.

Get your facts straight. I got banned because I had an opinion that differed from Fuzz's. LOL, in fact he ate crow and sent me an appology. Then he blew a gasket and started acting a fool. Thus, we have the situation, but what does all this have to do with the relevance of a vedor doing a comparision?
