Foam pad 100% of the time. That was the best for me. I use Megs Yellow Foam applicators. I also have the one from HD but prefer something smaller. If you have a PC you can also apply it with a no cut pad like the blue LC, or even the Gold one. Just do the whole car, wait for the wax-sealant to haze and buff off with a nice microfiber. IMO its one the easiest sealants to use.
