How do you DESTRESS?!?!?!!?

Here's another vote for working out. Great way to cleanse the mind and just focus on what you are doing.

I am in the same boat buddy.... except Im only 28 and feel like Im going on 45. I have a few goals this year and less stress is deffinately one of them. My boss stresses me out so bad that I had to visit a Dr. a couple times this year... and at one point I could barely walk because my back muscles cramped due to a minor anxiety attack. :( Im underpaid, over worked, underappreciated, and I have a supervisor with no spine and doesnt stick up for me. It sucks.

Anyways.... 2007.... less stress, deffinately some kind of excersize, find a better job (career), and more time with my family.

1. Working out. I have a little gym at home and a big gym at work.

2. Detailing, even just for a bit, there is usually a car in the garage that needs a bit of something.

3. Motorcycle ride

4. Track day on the bike, ultimate stress relief, you can't think of anything other than you and the bike... dragging a knee through a 90mph turn, hitting the straight at 140+ mph, then scrubbing all that speed to enter a tight tight right hander.

1. Exercise - We burn wood over the winter, and a little quality time with the maul and woodpile does it for me.

2. Massage, etc - I've got a pretty understanding girlfriend and a good backrub after a long day helps alot.

3. Happy hour - a coupla drinks will usually fix what ails me. The stiffer the better.

First off, sorry your life contains so much stress. Hopefully, you will find some alleviation.

I simply de-stress by going downstairs to my basement garage and find something to detail on my Z06. If I am really stressed out I take her for a serious but lawful cruise.:bigups

reggea music and not sweating the small stuff... you just gotta think about how big of a deal osmething really is and when you relaize that this big big thing in your life is really nothing you can just chill and not think about it, everythings gonna work out in the end so dont worry to hard. but dont get me wrong, sometimes you need to hurry up and get something done on time or whatever, so you gotta do what you gotta do. and i heard massages in here somewhere, they really do help

Kayaking

Photography

Disc golfing

Fishing

All of those activities really calm me down after a stressful period. I like going outside and just forgetting about all the things that frustrate me. I lift weights too, but I find the outdoor activities more relaxing, and more fun.

Also, driving! I just search out some curvy roads (I've even looked at maps to seek out squiggly roads in the area) and take a spirited trip over there.

yakky what do you ride?

I wish I still had my motorcycle, but there are just to many idiots on the road. I also have a tendency to get throttle happy, which scares my wife.

Well I like to talk to my wife, she is a great listener and I do the same for her. also listening to music and Golf will keep me more stress free. tough keeping work from coming home, had my fill of that recently as well, feel your pain there. I try to keep in mind that I have a great wife and kids that care about and depend on me. if I let work ruin my mind or body I am focusing on the negative things in life , instead of the positive. had a great neighbor recently pass away and he was the nicest guy you would ever meet. one day he was here , the next he was gone. felt so bad to see him pass but at the same time it reminded me that life is short and we need to live each day like our last. we all need to find " our way " of dealing with stress. hope this makes you feel a little better.

04 Blue/Silver. Pretty much as it came from the factory save for a few little enhancements like SS lines, windscreen, seat mod and plugin for my electrics :D How about you?

I have an 01

I installed a Brock Davidon Gen 3 full exhaust, powercommander 3 USB, pyramid winscreen,2 " bar risers, gsxr front pegs, corbin seats(w/backrest),EBC HH brake pads, EK ZZ chain, 16/40 sprockets, speedo healer, and dynotuned by DaveO 168hp/101tq

are you on the busa boards?

I used to be on the boards (hayabuasa.org), but about 90% of those guys are into drag racing, not really my cup of tea. I like to check in every once in a while to see if there are any good parts for sale, thats about it. Looking for a full Givi setup, maybe a quiet exhaust some day. The bike is almost perfect to me though. Super comfy and silly fast, yet still does well in the turns.
