Hooked another on the Klasse Twins! ;)

Well, after bringing over my Klasse Twins and leaving it at my buddy's garage, he decided he'd try it on his '05 S4 Avant in Black (and doesn't Klasse look great on black??? :xyxthumbs ).

He'd been using this guy who comes around twice a yr to detail his car and his wife's Mini. This guy uses basic wax and polisher and won't tell me what he uses.

Anyway, after I'd done my car @ his place, he seemed to be impressed with the results of the 3 layers of SG I put on my BMW. I told him "Just do the rear panel to see the difference." He did that last night. Ended up, after I left, he did the rest of the car (bored? nothing to do? :o ) with AIO and 1 layer of SG on top. Leaving it to cure overnight, I went over after lunch and he went to town on buffing off the haze from the SG. (Damp cloth followed by dry cloth folks!)

Here's the results:

I'm hoping he's convinced to join the insanity enough to continue doing his car on his own instead of paying some guy, who won't divulge details on his products to do it.

Let me know if I need to convince him more!!!!:p

Damn, Damn, Damn! Why o'.... Why didn't I buy the Twins! That looks incredible! I hope the products I have look that good on my black Pathy.

JJ,

When I had my black '03 Pathy SE, the Klasse Twins were my first 'good' detailing products I ordered to try out on it. I was always impressed with the results afterwards, more so with 2+ layers of SG on it. No doubt you will be too after you've tried. And, as Silver Lexus says, maybe adding a layer of carnauba wax would make it pop a little more. But I always liked the Klasse SG look and like to have the option of layering more SG after my next wash.

looks amazing! i love my AIO and SG. sometimes i get side tracked with other products, but whenever i bust them out, i always fall in love again.

I have been using Klasse for 4 years and love it greatly. It's gone on both of my Maximas. Case in point, here's a pic of the '02 I had with just AIO and Souveran.

I think with all the new products that have come (and some have gone too), the Klasse have been the most consistent products I use so far in the 2+ yrs of doing this OCD thing called autodetailing.

Even if I shift to other products, it's like an old standby that's hard to beat. Kinda like having a Merc SLK500 as a weekend driver and a Honda Accord as a daily driver. You will always rely on your daily driver in most situations! ;) (Errrr, is this comparison corny or what?)
