Well, after bringing over my Klasse Twins and leaving it at my buddy's garage, he decided he'd try it on his '05 S4 Avant in Black (and doesn't Klasse look great on black??? :xyxthumbs ).
He'd been using this guy who comes around twice a yr to detail his car and his wife's Mini. This guy uses basic wax and polisher and won't tell me what he uses.
Anyway, after I'd done my car @ his place, he seemed to be impressed with the results of the 3 layers of SG I put on my BMW. I told him "Just do the rear panel to see the difference." He did that last night. Ended up, after I left, he did the rest of the car (bored? nothing to do?
) with AIO and 1 layer of SG on top. Leaving it to cure overnight, I went over after lunch and he went to town on buffing off the haze from the SG. (Damp cloth followed by dry cloth folks!)
Here's the results:
I'm hoping he's convinced to join the insanity enough to continue doing his car on his own instead of paying some guy, who won't divulge details on his products to do it.
Let me know if I need to convince him more!!!!
