Hold it or Wear it? Whats your Wash-mitt grip preference?

Hey, that`s a good distinction! But I hold the ones I use for wheels/wells too. For wheels, I only use the mitt for the barrels/back side of the spokes, everything else being done with BHBs and swabs.

Simply because it has 2 sides. So, I`m going to flip it half way through.

I`m far too lazy to flip it if it`s being worn like a glove.

I don`t understand people who use a wash mitt with 1 side, like the CarPro mitt.[/QUOI have both the double sided and single sided (newer) and reach for the single sided because the double sided weighs 50lbs.

I wear the single side wool mitts. I don`t use the double sided mitts anymore as the weight bothers my wrist.

My hands are small so I bunch the cuff in my palm and hold it. I feel more in control this way. As others have mentioned it`s easier to flip that way too.

I hold it so I can barely put any pressure on the paint. Basically, I lightly drag it across. Seems I have better control this way, plus as others have said, it makes it easier to flip sides.

Ok so out of 54 votes so far, 75% (41 votes) of us prefer to hold our washmitts vs wearing them on our hands. So why isn`t there more options for "dreadlock" style washpads on the market? GG is the only place I can find with such a product - and it`s not sold on either Autopia or AG. Come on Vega! Bring in a washpad option for us!!

It is the best of the dread lock style I have owned. It lasts longer and like its smaller squarish shape.

I wish they had a pad too

I`d definitely enjoy that more.

and maybe a tad bit smaller (for my preference at least) as these are almost to Plush to swipe on the washboard easily. I know that sounds crazy and I found if I put my hand in it then I can wipe it on the grit guards easier.

That`s how I ended up just keeping my hand in it.

It was pretty convenient actually. I`d still like a pad option as well.

Definitely can tell it`s not, as they say "cut from the same cloth"

I use a big red sponge, but I did order the carpro fluffy thing that your hand slips into, part holding part mit, but can take it off without the other hand, softer and plusher then anything ive ever had. Definitely a winner.
