HD CUT Product Testers MASTER THREAD

Yes I am curious as well when was the birth of his bottle, how long between recieving the product and testing/review?

My bottle arrived just a couple days later than most but that most likely was due to our postal system in WV. You guys have to remember that once things enter our state, they are unloaded from the trucks onto horse & carriage systems and may take several days to be delivered. :pound:

I did not use it on an entire vehicle, only a small section before attending Barry's class in Charlotte. That's where I was able to really work it. I attacked regular defects and sanding marks with the Rupes. Maybe Barry's bottle was the updated version? I will make an attempt again this weekend to work my bottle on a larger area than 2'x2' and update with my results. Sorry for the confusion and delayed response, just been really busy with work and with 12 hour days I don't feel like much at the end.

Richard - You'll be getting a bottle of the final production version later this week or early next week. Start using this version and when you get a chance a review would be great.

Thanks David! I have a new schedule at work that will allow me detail more often, which means better opportunity to try new products.

Got my new bottle yesterday. I am excited to try out the new version. I am hoping to see the improvements in the make up. Can't wait to do a full review on the new formula! :D

My new bottle came in Friday. Thanks again for sending out updated samples, hope to have my review to you this coming week! :xyxthumbs

David, I have a 4 day weekend next week and will be working on a dark blue Chevy Silverado. I have various pads from Meguiar's, Lake Country, Buff & Shine, and CarPro. Compounds on hand are M105, M101, and D300.

Looking forward to your thoughts Richard! Using a DA or Rotary (or both)?

I sold my rotary so DA only, sorry. Meguiar's M100 and Chemical Guys V32 have been added to the list.

Just a quick update, I used the new formulation of HD Cut 3D sent me on a black Toyota Camry, and the removal process was much better than with the original formulation. It was not any harder to remove than UNO, and did a fine job on some fairly deep scratches. I haven't used the new formulation in the heat in full sun yet, but if this is any indication, HD Cut just became the easiest compound to remove by far.
