HD-Cleanse

Just out of curiosity; Is this HD Cleanse Pro the brown colored cleaner in a clear bottle that has a scent that resembles chocolate milk??

I had a discussion about this months back and this just reminded me of it.

Not sure about the HD Cleanse Pro as I think it's only available to Zymol Authorised Detailers, but the HD Cleanse that anyone can buy IS the "Double Mocha Latte" color and fragrance that you speak of. (I've actually considered putting a dab behind my ear as a cologne. I bet the ladies would flock) :woohoo:

I'm holding the MSDS on it now and it says

Appearance: Beige

Odor: Sweet Odor

pH:6.5-7.5

Get this, it's has a Flashpoint of 200 degrees F but "will not support combustion"

So in the package Zymol sent you.. does it have the prices for authorzied dealers, also does it have a minimum purhcase a year.. Sorry to ask all these questions but until i get my package lol

It comes with

-"Thank you for your interest" letter,

-"How to use the enclosed paperwork" sheet,

-Applications to become an Authorised Reseller and one for an Authorised Detailer,

-"Market Development Fund F.A.Q." sheet, -

-"Market Devlopment Submission" form

-"Shared Advertising F.A.Q." sheet,

-sample "Authorised Reseller Acceptance" letter/contract that they will send you signed by them should you qualify that ooutlines what you can and can't do as well as what Zymol expects from you as an Authorised Reseller,

-sample "Authorised Detailer Acceptance" letter/contract that they will send you signed by them should you qualify that outlines what you can and can't do as well as what Zymol expects from you as an Authorised Detailer,

-Detailer "License Fee" sheet as I decribed in an earlier post,

-Reseller "goals" sheet as I also described earlier,

-"Reseller price sheets" giving you the "Authorised MSRP" and the "Authorised Reseller price" in case and less-than-case qty's,

-"Premium Products" price sheet w/MSRP by the case (x12) and the break down on the prices as depending on how much you order

-Three Incentive Package sheets-i.e. "getting you started" packages that you can get one time ony at that price unless you meet the "goals" as I stated them earlier.

-And the MSDS for all of the products available through Authorised Resellers.

It's alot of info and you'll have to read through it a couple of times to absorb all of it. Well, I did anyway.

Hope this helps.

Great thank you, this looks great. I look forward to gettin gmy package. And thank you very much for all the info.

Ibls1, the HD cleanse pro is only available in the normal white(non transparent) bottle,32oz size.Essentialy, it is similar to the standard version,in terms of scent, appearence, colour, but the pro version contains Chalcedonay Quartz Crystals to give the product more 'Bite', so that minor swirls etc could be removed,as opposed to just a straight forward cleaning action,as is the case with the standard version.

The Chalcedonay Quartz Crystals are the prefered medium for polishing, over Kapolite which is found in the standard version of HD cleanse,as they have more of a polishing(abrasive) action, and so could be used with a machine for minor defect removal.Kapolite is 'functionaly' non abrasive as the particles are so fine(small),so they do not really have a polishing,or abrasive action on a paint surface; hence the reason why you can use the standard version of HD cleanse regularly, even on older paint, without detrimental effect.

well put, i want to become Zymol Auth Detailer, do you think I can pay them to train me if I just detail my car and family/friend cars? I detail at a LR dealer too, but I don't think they will care about that. I don't want to tote being a Z auth detailer I just want the knowhow!

Interesting . . . but just think of how much more $$$ you could charge if you were a Zymol authorized detailer. I'm sure it would attract a lot of high end customers to your business as well.

Interesting point, however if you are giving your customers the perfect finish w/o zymol what incentive would they have to pay more to get the zymol products?

You could always sell the increaed durability, increased shine, dont give them a choice. I dunno im sure that if you were serious about it you could give them some excuse

I was given this product and for some reason (brown bottle) I thought it was the HD Cleanse pro, since I was used to seeing the regular HD Cleanse in the white bottle that's available at retail. This product that I used lent itself well to the pc, although in reality I did not find that it was abrasive.

It isn't really a deal breaker whether or not I would obtain the pro, since I already have a good team of polishes to use. The HD Cleanse that I used this year, however, I found that it was a good addition to the polishes that I used to start my detail season.

BTW: HD Cleanse is really not a required cleaning product with the Zymols. You can use any proven moderately abrasive clean and polish product that you see fit. The objective is to render the paint clean and free of any residual lsps, contaminants and swirling.

Basically you're just taking advantage of the existing Zymol marketing program. Plus, if people know you're using more expensive supplies it justifies a higher charge.

On top of that, I bet there are many car collectors that actively seek out detailers who use products like Zymol.
