Got a new car, and want these results!!!

So just got a new car on Saturday (sample pic attached), it is called Furious Fuchsia. It has the potential to be a very deep looking color, but it also has metallic in it, so it can really sparkle.



I hit it with PwS, White Diamond, EX-P and Natty's Red on Monday just to protect it from the rain that was coming this week, but I am looking to wax this like there's no tomorrow.



My goal for the paint, is to make it look so wet/deep, so that it looks like if you touch it you will get wet paint on your finger!!



And I would also like to get the metallic to pop, so that in the sun it looks like a bass boat.



Just placed an order for some Natty's Blue and Black Hole; Now I need recommendations, would you just start from where i left off and go Natty's Blue, Natty's Red etc.....



Or would you step back and go:

PwS or Poorboy's Polish

Black Hole

EX-P (x2)

Natty's Red/Blue/Red/Blue and repeat???



Got a process for this goal, fill me in!!!

I'm going to assume this is NOT a daily driver. I assume it's going to be a fair-weather-only type of ride. Personally, I'd get it polished to perfection and keep it really simple thereafter and use one of the "wet" carnaubas. Chem Guy's rich 5050 wax seems like it was made for this car. I'd most likely bypass any type of sealant product.

Unfortunately this will be my daily driver! So i definitely need some good protection!



I will check out the Chem guys 5050!!



If I didnt want to order any more today, could I get away with the Natty's for now, and possibly top with the Chem Guys in the near future?
 
I am also very curious to try out some Dodo Juice!!



Only concern is if I can add this on top of the Natty's??

Be sure to check out lxforums for the best information regarding your car, the members there will be in love with the color too ;)



I don't have any recommendations at the moment, I can't say I've seen that color under different LSPs.

Shades of Panther Pink!



I'd go with Optimum Opti-Seal and then after every few washes, go over the paint with Optimum Car Wax. The paint will be deep, wet and well protected.

Well I had ordered some Natty's Blue prior to posting, so for now I will be alternating between Natty's Red and Natty's Blue till I am just tired of waxing lol!



I am still in the market for a higher quality LSP, especially for the spring timeframe! So any more ideas let me know!!!!
 
Run down to Walmart and pick up some AG HD wax. If you're lucky they will still have some in stock for $20.
 
Both Natty's waxes are great quality waxes. Simply because they don't have a $100 price tag doesnt mean they arent great waxes.

I own Supernatural, Fuzion, Midnight Sun etc. and Natty's keeps up with them all day long.

Exactly. I'm so tired of people who are delusional and blinded by the money they spent on expensive waxes. I'd be willing to bet any of my $30 waxes against anything over $100 in a blind test, car split in 1/2. You can ***** all day long how Natty's isn't as durable as some, but when you start spewing crap about it not looking good is where it's time to call you out.



OP, true shine comes from a flawless finish, not from something in an 8oz tub. If you want a show-car look, you need do multi-stage polishing and possibly wet sanding.
 
Agreed! I have always been satisfied with the look Natty's gives....I am not saying its the absolute best, cause I haven't tried all the $$$ waxes, but I have NEVER been dissatisfied.



I did run to Wally on lunch and picked up some AG HD; will prob use that as my very last layer!
 
Welp, picked the car up on saturday, and today is the first day the sun has been shining, and in the sun I noticed spider webbing more than I wanted too! I am sure this comes from the lax car washing the dealer did, as this was a new car!!



So now I am at a point where it looks like I will have to start back at SSR1....



Don't really want to because I don't want to impart any more imperfections; I guess with a white pad and at about speed 5 with a PC, I should be ok.



I guess it now looks like:



SSR1

PwS

Black Hole

EX-P

Natty's Blue

Natty's Red

and repeat the Natty's

AG HD



UGH!!!!!!!!!!! :wall was hoping to just start in with the wax

All those steps look like you will spend 8-12 hours on the finish. You would be much better served using Megs 205 or UNO and then follow up with a true finishing polish like P085RD (or Ultrafina) and top with whichever wax. AG HD is great stuff, you'll find it lasts quite a bit longer than Natty's though it might not be as bold at first.
 
I dont have any of those on hand and just bought some of the poorboys so I am going to use those for now! Not looking forward to 8-12 hours, but gotta prep right the first time...



wondering if I should clay bar too, surely it the paint dont need it!



Def wanna try the mezerna at some point though!

Point is, spend time polishing, not layering waxes (which does not work). Two coats of (the same) wax for even coverage and you are done. If you want amped up shine, get that from a quick detailer. It might need claying, try and see if the clay bar picks up some stuff, should be easy to see.
