Getting Rid of Smoke Smell

There is a fog that I use and have never had a complaint when removing smoke smell. I get from www.superiorrestoration.com.

Here is the process I use:

Blow out the vents and under the dash,

Vaccum thoroughly

Carpet Extract everything even under the seats,

mix up a quart of water with a cap full of carpet cleaner to clean the headliner with a sponge,

then clean all the vinyl/leather.

At that point put the fogger in the car (under newspaper) with the windows closed and set it off. Let it set for about 4 hours and you have no more smoke smell. You can also run the AC with the fogger (about 15 minutes) on to cirulate though the system. This is the last thing I do and tell the customer he can remove the fogger when done.

This stuff is invaluable! While it leaves a cherrywood scent, it goes away within 24 hours. Used in conjunction with an enzymatic odor terminator (ValuGard) sprayed and injected, it has been the perfect tool for eliminating odors!

We put the ventilation system on 'recirc', and let the fan run for several hours. (Use a battery charger!)

Excellent, and predictable results!

This is a good method, what I do in addition.

I mix my shampooing water with Odor Ban which you can buy at Sam's and it rocks.

I also spray the cabin and air filter with Odor Ban while in the process.

I spray the vents with Odor Ban

I tell the customer to replace all filters

I tell the customer to replace both filters
