The other day, I had to go to the gas station to refill my gas can for my lawn mower. After I had it filled it, I closed it tightly and placed in in my trunk. When I stopped at a red light, I heard the can tip over in the trunk, so I got out, and noticed that the top was leaking gas into my trunk. I tried to blot it up and then sprayed APC+ onto it, but the interior still smells like gas.
Any ideas on how to get rid of that smell?

Chad,
I tried the solution in the article. First, I sprayed white vinegar over the area of the spill. Then I vacuumed the area of any excess vinegar. Now I have baking soda over the area in the trunk. I will leave it there for at least a few days.
I will let you know how it turns out.
Thanks for the advice.
After a couple of days it will go away on its own.
