Getting ready to detail two Harleys....

He could be one day. :D

IMO its best to never dress tires or seats. I have used conditioners on leather seats but I wipe them down well after.

I just went for a ride on a cruizer a couple of hours ago. It was in a light rain. The last thing you want is dressing running down from the sidewalls.

BTW if anyone is detailing a motorcycle for someone and they want to dress the tires, it would be a really good idea to ask the owner BEFORE doing so. If they get upset and start demanding new tires because of it that $250 can now become cost you some good money. My tires were $500 at regular price for a set.

Plus some people are quick to make BS complaints. I would hate to have a rider trying to pin a lowside on my shop for dressing his or her tires.

BTW here are some of the bikes that I have done at the shop. Not one complained about not having dressing on the tires.

The R6 (the blue bike) was mine.

One last one. This pic shows how much tire a big bike can still use. The tires on these bikes have a different shape to the tires then the ones that were on my bike. You can use the tires.
