IMO its best to never dress tires or seats. I have used conditioners on leather seats but I wipe them down well after.
I just went for a ride on a cruizer a couple of hours ago. It was in a light rain. The last thing you want is dressing running down from the sidewalls.
BTW if anyone is detailing a motorcycle for someone and they want to dress the tires, it would be a really good idea to ask the owner BEFORE doing so. If they get upset and start demanding new tires because of it that $250 can now become cost you some good money. My tires were $500 at regular price for a set.
Plus some people are quick to make BS complaints. I would hate to have a rider trying to pin a lowside on my shop for dressing his or her tires.
