GOT PREP?
Re: Re: Re: Re: OH NO
1. You can probably find some locally, lokk in the phone book under "body shop supplies." If not you can find it through one of the DC sponsers.
2. I don't think you should flip out just yet. From what you described it just a bit of rotary swirl. Hopefully it is not a clear coat burn, then you would flip out. I think that in order for them to be removed you will need a machine and a skilled operator, BUT you might as well give it a whirl by hand.
3. Probably will not get worse.
Good luck with it, I would seriosly think about taking it to the detailer. Especially if you know that he is skilled.
Focusedonsound said:Ok ...it maybe be sad but the mess I have made with the rotary has me scared to even look at the damn thing. So that is why I am so afraid to use it again. This car is my baby I have had it since new. And beleive it or not its my daily driver. With 24k On it Its a 2000 GT VERT. My G/F thinks that I care more about the car than I do about her but I tell her I clean my car for the excersise. (She accepted that answer) But she still thinks im anal about the car.
1. Where do I pick up some #83 DACP or where can I have some of it sent from at a reasonable price.
2. Is this kind of damage something that I should be fliping out about or is it something that If I can't get it out by hand this week I can bring it to a local professional and have him do it no problem?
3. If I don't do anything will it get worse? And next time I go to wax the car I should be able to get this out?
I don't want to do anything in a panic and end up making the situation worse than it is. I do know of a local detailer In the next town over. (I was actually thinking of seeing if he needed any weekend help doing interiors or something) and getting a pro to help me out!
Im going to speak to the ppl over on Meguiars online this morning I just registerd over there and I thought I would try to get some info from them over there.
Once again guys I really really appreciate all of the help
