When you move into a new neighborhood, get to know your neighbors before you criticize them.
GEEZ. Let's see, per an earlier post, people seem to be unable to get ahold of the vendor. Vendor promises an email acknowledgement to potential clients that he has received their request, but no one seems to have received said email acknowledgement. Lots of people don't seem to have received their towels or gotten an email telling them when to expect them.........that doesn't sound questionable? Didn't know "Sounds fishy" was a that strong of a statement.
I agree that Ian has made a wonderful offer, that's why I decided to take him up on the offer. I am sure that Ian is a great guy. When I get the towel, I will be happy to tell everyone what a great product it is and the publicly thank Ian for his gracious gift. Who knows, I may even act just the way Ian hopes I will and purchase a bunch of his towels!
But wow, Z man, why the attitude? Are you Ian's on-line champion? As I see by your post, you seem to make a habit of protecting Ian's service record. How bout a simple, "Hey guys, I've gotten my towel, it's great, yours is on the way." Or a, "Hey guys, distribution problem, everything is a week behind. It's coming." Or maybe even give Ian a chance to check in and do a little PR.
Zman, your horse is high. Get off it.
