Found A Steal At Advanced Auto Parts

its a 3m "paint restore system" which comes with a cutting compound, polish, and wax, 3 pads (cutting light polishing and waxing) and a "scratch pad" which is supposed to be like wet sanding.

I saw it marked down for $59.99 to . . . . $17.99. so with my buddys discount after tax I paid a whopping $15 for everything. pretty freaking good considering I cant buy 1 cutting pad for that (after shipping).
now granted I have not tired it yet and 3m claims it will work with just a normal cheap buffer, so I don't know what the results are going to be. I am going to use it with my pc (obviously) but I don't think these are going to last long. if I were you and I were looking for a good starting point, this my friends is a steal.
oh and here is the barcode

also I posted this a couple of days ago on my grand am forum, and a guy found it in TN (about 7 hours away from me). the price was marked $59.99 but it rang up $17.99 for him as well. so even if its not marked down have them ring it up and see.

Excellent buy!

Advance has quite a few shocking buys every time I walk in there.

My local one has Mother's Back to Black Tire Shine for $4.99 (-20%). A $4.00 savings. I figured it's worth a try. We'll see.

They have some discounted Griots products, but I have NO interest in that product.

My local Advance has four in stock at that price.

Regular $59.99
-20% Discount
A Manager's Extra Discount lowers it to $17.99

AG is asking $59.99 for the hand application kit.

You don't need to go to the store. You can order it online and pick it up at the local store.

Type in your zip code at Advance and search for 3M Paint Restoration System. It will then produce results based on availability in your area.

Have one waiting for me for pickup tommorrow. Now just waiting on my HF DA to show up

The 3 pads are polishing pads. Very cheaply made too
That's not true. Watch the video.

Those pads are probably made alongside many others made in China.

Where are most pads made? I can't seem to find out by reading the marketing pages.

granted I've only used them once now, but they seem to be as good as my Lake County pads. I actually like how they wrap around the back plate. if there are any failures i'll post them

If anyone buys these and does'nt use the round Velcro. That comes in the kit that goes on the 6" orbital waxed .I"ll take it I have one of those I can put it on
