I liked having the big box of recent posts- where I could read the whole thread title, who started the thread, and who was the last to post.

Yeah that's what I was referring to. Before, we could click on HOME, and you could see the latest 20 or so threads, complete with the thread starter's screen name and last poster's name.

I also liked that when I clicked the CGT on the top (the main heading) it took me to the home page, not the forums page.



I actually liked the silver 911 that was on there before the CGT took over. Was it a 993? I liked that color scheme much better too.



When I first joined Autopia, it was because people used the :wavey smiley alot. Wavey even sounds nice and cute. We aren't using the :wavey smiley enough, and I believe this to be one of the main factors in debates on Autopia.
 
Dunno if it worked before, but as of right now, the search isnt working. I get the following error:



Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12 bytes) in /home/httpd/vhosts/autopia.org/httpdocs/forum/includes/init.php on line 17

I'm am not able to log in to the gallery - I'm logged into Autopia, but I come up as "unregistered" when I try to upload/view photos

I've been wanting a smilie like that for a long time.
 
Since it looks like the folder name of the forums has changed, my bookmarks to my favorite threads no longer work. (folder was changed from "forums" to "forum")



here is what one of my old bookmarks looked like:

and I had to manually edit each one to look like this



http://www.autopia.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55466&highlight=rmg



I am assuming that this probably is not an easy fix to change on the server though so no big deal.

Actually, this IS a big deal, because it's not just your bookmarks that don't work--it's links to other threads/posts also (from within other threads/posts), so it will have to be re-pathed (hopefully that is as easy as it sounds to me :rolleyes: )
 
I just posted my first reply with the new software. I first previewed and when I tried to submit I received :confused: :

Is previewing considered posting? After waiting I was able to submit my post.

One thing I like thread navagation at the bottom of the page instead of going up to the top to go back to the main topic

Good point! I didn't think of that aspect. Guess we have to cross our fingers and hope David can correct that...
