FoamGun Question

For a mid size truck should I get the quart or half gallon? I would think that the half gallon would be kinda heavy after a while.

Oh, and has anybody tried 4 Star Ultimate Car Wash in a foam gun? I just bought some and really like it, under regular use with a mitt and 2 buckets.

I think I'm gonna buy a foamgun, sea sponge and a couple gallons of 303 Aerospace products. Anybody know of any Autogeek discount codes that are better than the "Autopia" 10%?

The quart should handle it just fine as long as you're not going with the max soap/water ratio.

For fun, I made a little video of the gun in action :) (requires Flash 8)

Nice :) Aren't they so fun to use? It takes us twice as long to wash now with the foam gun because it's too fun to foam up the car haha.

If you're buying from AutoGeek I'd get one of their BHBs too. Shooting the foam through the bristles and merely jiggling the brush (as opposed to wiping with it) is about the best way I've found to clean really dirty vehicles without marring the paint.

I tested the AutoGeek BHB (wet with shampoo solution) on a CD and it didn't mar it. The BHB sure rinses clean easier (better?) than a mitt!

Funny you mention that, I feel the same way. Here I thought that this thing was supposed to decrease my wash time.

In my case, it's because my neighbors keep coming by to see what has happened. They don't know if the wife's washing machine has gone bezerk or if an airplane is about to make an emergency landing.

Tell me about it... Between the multiple sets of hoses and buckets, the foamgun, and the airwand, the neighbors look at me as if I'm new to the planet, not to mention that the noise from the airwand has every dog in the neighborhood barking. :chuckle:
