Fixing dealer prep *PICS*

Dean, thanks for the kind words!! I really appreciate that.

On neglected finishes like you describe I too go with the rotary. Though I believe with multiple passes and correct pad/polish *some* more severe defects can be removed with the cyclo, the rotary saves so much time when correcting *real* defects. I do find that the cyclo can do more work than the PC though.

I am not as proficient as you with the rotary though, I still have to follow up with a final polish on the PC or cyclo.

Thanks again for the kind words!!!

my thoughts excatly, but i wonder if there would be a problem with having a top mounted and front mounted intercoolers at the same time... or would you have to remove the top mount???

Liam,

You have to remove the top mount if you are going with a front mount due to the intercooler piping. it would be impossible to plumb a front mount and top mount in sequence (i assume) and you can get front mounts that can support excess of 1000+hp so its also unnecessary.

hope this helps

In addition to being a total plumbing nightmare, 2 large intercoolers, routed in series or parallel, would create a large pressure drop that would cancel out the benifits of the cooler air charge.
