First Try with Zaino Clear Seal Not Good

Apply it thin and make sure you don't drag any water out from moldings or get your applicator wet or the water will leave streaks. A quick Z6 wipe takes care of it.

O I agree it is ultimatly the responsilbilty of the user to put it on right but then again this is a new product and sometimes we all need a little learning curve

Yes. As I mentioned in my very first post I had problems initially even though Sal stated very clearly that a thin smear is all that's needed. The problem was solved by changing my application technique. Since than, even in cool weather CS has just plain performed.

It not defending a product by trying to alleviate potential problems or problems encountered.

I discuss Zaino because that my primary product line I use. Thru years of experiences and beta testings a vast data-based has been created that may help someone.

I'm kind of surprised no one asked this since the OP stated it was difficult to spread the product. Although the vehicle looks pretty good, the regimen stated did not include any paint cleaning or claying (other than a wash). Could that be why the product did not spread out thinly enough to dry without incident?

It turns out that those streaks were just residual CS ... easily wiped down with Z8.



There is a learning curve with this - and any other products we use - so next time I plan to apply CS in daylight so I can better see how well I spread it.



Also, my garage is heated (to about 50 degrees F), but it was humid as I washed the car in there yesterday too, which made the cure time longer.



I'm stunned by how it looks after a wipedown with Z8 ... and, as is often the case, pics do not do it justice.

You know I have to put my 2 cents into this... why is it that when someone uses a product for the first time and have even the slightest problem they have to immediately run to the internet to complain and get advice. Doesn't anyone ever simply pick up the phone anymore and call the manufacturer for advice? A simple call would have told you that you goofed and would have told you what to do to correct your mistake. Five pages of discussion and it has nothing to do with the product not performing properly at all! In fact, it seems to have performed flawlessly!
