First Try with Zaino Clear Seal Not Good

It was not applied as per instructions, so how can you say it did not perform as advertised?

Besides, a simple QD will make the problem go away. At least if you mess up the CS application, you don't have to compound the problem out (like polycharger).

Listen let me just say I am a zaino user, I have ALL there stuff. I am just saying for the normal everday guy this product might be difficult to apply. You can apply wax to thick and it is a pain to buff off but very seldom streaks. Not everyone is fanatical as we are they are just normal everyday people who want there car "shiney", if they do apply this too thick (which most will) then I am guessing Sal is going to getting ALOT of calls about streaks.

I dont know why polycharger is even in this discussion

Direct from Polycharger's FAQ.

Can Polycharger damage my paint?

No! However, if you improperly mix Polycharger (no not shake well or mix too strong) the boosted car wax may streak. In this case it will be necessary to use a paint cleaner/polish to remove the coating.

Eh, it's stretching it a whole lot to say that this would mean compounding is necessary.

pics of the car look nice , i look forward forward to see if Z6 resolved your problem if so please post a few more pics :up

a few questions before my order arrives..

1) I i'm guessing the car can't be driven while the CS application is curing, how long before CS dries.

2) Is there a problem with dust setteling in on the CS when it is drying.

did z6 remove the problem?

it also looks like it could be slight holograms caused by the applicator

or maybe while drying the car

If you put it on thin, it will be gone in 15-30 mins.

Applying CS:

1. Use the new zaino cotton app. that comes with your order.

2. spritz the app with CS on the light side.

3. Small spritz in the center of the panel you are working.

4 Work CS into the panel using back and forth motions, go over the area approx 3-4 times.

5. Use light pressure and just glide the app over the panel you are working.

Well in this instance imo it did not work as advertised, he possibly applied to much but it did not dry properly and now his car has streaks ALL over it.

I made some brownies and the directions state to add an egg. I forgot. The brownie tasted and look like crap. I'm going to blame Dunkin Hines for my mistake.:hairpull

Those are not streaks. Just residual CS in areas where application was too thick. Z6 wipedown and problem solved and lesson learned.

OK I dont know why some of the people who use zaino feel they HAVE to defend them in every discussion I use them and dont do that. I dont w t f you are talking about by making brownies with applying a sealant. All I am saying is if put on too thick it will streak most people will apply this too thick and therefor it will streak and Zaino will be getting alot of calls.

15-30 mnts cure time is reasonable..its safe to say very little goes a long way, are you guys pre washing your applicators prior to using em..

gmblack3a, Thanks for the responsw..

After 15 minutes you can drive the vehicle.

I would not apply any LSP in a dust storm other that no problem. As the weather warms and a thin application is applied CS will dry easily in 10- 15 minutes.

Because streaking and residual are to different detailing terms.

Misinformation by even a user of a product requires correcting.:nixweiss

If Z6 doesn't work, it will definately clear up after the next wash. Next time use less CS or wait a bit longer to apply it after you apply sealant.

O I agree it is ultimatly the responsilbilty of the user to put it on right but then again this is a new product and sometimes we all need a little learning curve

The Zaino users should be used to this by now. It seems when something isn't quite right with a Zaino product ( or should I say application process) certain individuals are ready to pounce. I have tested a ton of products over the past year and a half and believe me nothing is perfect. Speaking of putting on too thick the first time I used AW it was nothing but streaks, I called Jerry and he told me I put it on too thick. also I made the same mistake with AJ and man was it hard coming off.

I recently applied CS in 10 degree weather and the next day I had no streaks at all.

From the looks of the pictures man does the car shine, it may need better prep.

Zaino especially CS enhances the finish so much everything is magnified. Trust me properly preped CS is awesome.
