I received all my products and did all the reading on the forum that I could before tackling a "guinea truck". My brothers Chevy full size was in dire need of some paint attention. This is a secondary truck that he bought used. The previous owner(s) certainly used it as a truck and it has plenty of imperfections so I did what I could.
I washed the exterior. There was a good deal of dried up pine sap on the hood which I had to remove. I used Goof Off and it came off easily, thankfully.
Clayed with Clay Magic.
Taped up trouble areas so I didn’t have to worry about the black trim (highly suggested, the small amount of time it took was well worth it)
Used the PC on 6 with some Sonus SFX2 and a white pad. This didn't quite achieve what I was looking for so I switched to the yellow (SFX1) pad. This helped get more of the imperfections out. I did what I learned here by starting mild and moving toward abrasive. I didn't have any other polishes on hand so I knew a step up in pad would at least help.
Topped off with a coat of NXT. I wanted to try some Klasse but time did not allow me to.

And of course the following pic is my favorite
Thanks for all of the help and tips. I still have about 5 other "guinea vehicles" lined up in an array of colors to test different looks of products.
