I think I'll let you "cutting edge" guys test out the beta version before I download it.

Has anyone seen Internet Explorer 7 screen shots? Basically mimics firefox in my opinion. Just as the new Windows Vista mimics the Apple OS (By the way...check out the Leopard OS screenshots if you're geeky like me![]()
Joshua312 said:Just as I suspected I went to download and couldn't find it as wellBut I will be on at 5:10 to download so I don't jam the server at 5 when everyone else is trying to download
Danase said:I have the new IE7. They released it like a week ago. I like it much better than the old one for sure.
Joshua312 said:The only reason I asked if people seen the screenshots is because I won't go near an IE download to see it for real![]()
Spell Checking:
Dictionaries for several locales can't be packaged with the builds, and must be manually downloaded by selecting "Add Dictionaries..." on the shortcut menu. New dictionaries are regularly being added to Mozilla Add-ons, so if you don't see the particular dictionary you need, check back later. In future releases, users will be offered the opportunity to download dictionaries the first time they run the product (see bug 349945).

rjstaaf said:Keep in mind guys that the spell checker will not work until you download a dictionary. It is listed in the release notes. When you right click in a text box you will see the option to add a dictionary. It is just like installing an extension...
Danase said:Mine was working from the get go. Unless the extension was already incorporated into the download?
rjstaaf said:Go to "Tools" and "Add-ons" and see if it is there. Not sure how yours worked without having to add a dictionary. The problem with packaging it with the install is that the dictionary would have to be huge to accommodate various languages. The release notes say it is going to be a one time operation to download the dictionary when you first start Firefox after installation. I seriously doubt they will package it with the install.
