FinishKare products?

I just got my order of FK1 Pink and 425. I've got one more layer of Klasse SG to apply, then after it cures I'm putting on the Pink.

Should I use the 425 on the buffing towel when removing the Pink?

Or do you remove the Pink, then put the 425 on?

When you apply the Pink thin enough, it will basically fall off. Even a relatively thicker layer is easily removable, so there is no real need for the 425 strictly for removal.

The use of the 425 is optional. If you want, use it as a removal aid. Or after the Pink. Or don't use it immediately, just when you need it. It will add a nice shimmer to the finish, so I'd recommend to apply it when the Pink has already cured for 1-2 days.

I'm trying to figure out the differences between their 2180 and 1000P, aside from the obvious liquid vs paste. Which one is better for what? Am I better off using 2180 under 1000P. Is 2180 best under something else or as a stand-alone?

2180 is safe and recommended by FK for new paints (refinish), because it allows the paint to outgas. 1000P contains synthetic waxes and it is not recommended for new repaints.

1000P has a subjectively thicker feel on the surface, and beads wonderfully.

My routine would be: 2180 ×2-3/1000P/Pink/FX-100 then maintenance with 425 and/or 146.

I'll wait 1-2 days after applying the Pink before I apply the 425. I finally got my 3rd coat of Klasse SG on, so I'll be ready fro the Pink this weekend. I can't wait to try it. The Klasse has been a great protectant, but lacks "shine" IMO.

Sounds good. As Pink is curing, after 15-20 minutes it starts to look real good. On silver, it will look like warm chrome from certain flatter angles. :bigups

Bence what process would you recomend for this color my new 2007 Camry

I have 2180 and pink so far

picked the car up last week and prep'd it and applied 2180 x2

since bence is asleep right now, I'll chime in and say: start layering that PW!

How often will you wax your car? If not often enough, you may want to try #1000 but what you have is good enough. Pink wax will bring out the best in that color. Nice car btw.

1000P/Pink/FX-100.

Layer count is up to you. :D

The new Camrys are truly great cars!

Edit: I am awake (3:52 am), and I agree with you Thomas! Did you get my emails?

Thanks for the reply

I can wax fairly often but i like not having too sometimes

I probably will pick up #1000,425 fx100 soon

I really like the car the sport suspension is really nice

people don't believe when I tell them its a Camry

Thanks Bence

so 2180/1000p/pink/fx100

I might go with the pink next since I have it already

2180 looks real nice on it now I would like it slicker tho

I put on the 2180 sat morning and thankfully it didnt rain till last night so so it was dry about 50 hours after applying

I put some 216 on yesterday, pretty nice product. Easy on/easy off, left the paint slightly deep and pretty slick.

Yes I did. I've been very busy around the house and didn't make time to take care of some things.

My car now is garaged!
