Alright, well the garage is completed! And I decided to create a new thread so people could see the work done. I don’t think the other thread was being followed as much because my camera cord to upload pictures got chewed up by my puppy so I had to order a new one. Here are the pictures…Comments/questions welcome.

Sorry about all the junk on the right side of the garage in the pictures, I need to still take that stuff back into the house - but wanted to get some pictures up today on here.

Bump, I think autopia was having problems when I posted this thread as there were 0 new/updated threads..so just a little bump for those who care to view this thread.

-Sorry about the weird smudges in my pictures, I had some fingerprints on my lens

Looks great! You sure do have alot of 'stuff'! :hifive:

Can the TV output sound to an inexpensive amp, with at least two speakers? I think sound (everywhere) in the garage is SOO-o important. When we do this for 10-12 hours, we need several kinds of help...

Wanna run thru the application procedure for the floor paint? Inquiring minds want to know!

Me? I'm about to do a 'major' project on the floor of our "B" Shop.

I'll try to do step by step photo review. Soon.

Thanks for all the compliments so far! - ^ not pictured in these pictures, we have 2 speakers mounted in those cieling beams, I will take pictures tomorrow for you. So far we only have them hooked up to the radio sitting next to the tv, we are still seeing if there is some way we can run them too the tv as well, (they are a little older). It sounds good with the radio on with those speakers where they are placed, hopefully we can hook the tv up as well.

For the floor we simply used Quikrete Epoxy found at lowes, it comes with the acid to clean the floor. What we did was fill in any cracks/pitting in the floor with a vinyl cement repair, we then proceeded to clean the floor with the acid, scrubbing, scrubbing, etc...then for the epoxy it took about 2 1/2 hours. Very easy process, simpler than I thought. Laid down very easy..This is a real basic run through of what we did...if you have any specific questions feel free to ask. The floor was in rough shape stain wise before we started...even though all the stains were not removed, the epoxy easily covered them all up.

As for my "stuff" are you referring to the products on the shelves or the crap on the floor. If its the stuff on the shelves..It looks like Im going to have my dad make more shelving to put up on the pegboards for the order I just placed :)

Really, you made a huge improvement!

Thanks again for all the comments - I wish I could take credit for the transformation but I really only helped in small bits and pieces as Im not very handy :) My dad did everything from his own know-how. I really like the way the garage turned out, and it definately gives the garage a more professional look when customers are going to drop off vehicles. I am just awaiting my big order to arrive so I can put those items up on shelves :) - Im also looking at allposters.com to try and find some nice posters we could frame and hang up.

-Im sure you'll be seeing plenty of pictures of my garage in the future on upcoming click and brags...it should be a good area now to show before/after pictures without the distracting backgrounds and reflections - but dont worry I'll still give full sun shots for proof :) . And perfect for those after pictures without the background of our gravel drive-way :(

Looks great! I like the built-in shelves.

And you sure do have a nice product collection

On the bottom shelf, just right of the middle, what are those small spray bottles?

Yeah, you need to detail that camera lens :D

Thanks Zet, the shelves are on a system where I can change the height of each shelf for my various bottle sizes. And thanks for the compliments on my collection - it never seems like enough though :) haha Those small spray bottles are Eagle 1 A2Z wheel cleaner, picked up at Big Lots for .99 each

Nice. Yeah, I know what you mean, actually just yesterday I ordered some new products, all of which I really, really "needed" ;)

I'm starting up detailing professionally, so am looking for a garage myself. I think the pay from the first 4-5 jobs might just about cover what I have already spent on detailing products this spring :D
