Finished! 86 Vette Black...From death to new life. It's alive and kicken!

I did see this car yesterday and it is still looking great. I was a little surprised with the cheap crappy paint that was used sitting in the hot sun. The owner said he was very impressed with it.

The owner wants me to do his Mallet Edition yellow Vette sometime and some other vehicles that he personally owns. I also got stuck doing some mechanical work for him on the side too. It seems like I can never get away from dealers.

Yeah. I am really interested to know how you handled that huge paint peel.

Have you seen the car lately, how is it holding up?

I had stopped by the shop to see the owner and the customer brought the car back for stalling issues. The car had some electrical issues.

We were all still amazed at how well the car still looked.

I did find out that they bought the car for $1700, put $2500 in it and then sold it for $13,900. They did make a very nice profit on it.

The body guy was suppose to fix them but never did. A few months after the detail, he had me fill them in with epoxy and black paint. I wetsanded them and spot polished them and blended them in pretty good.

The car had been spot painted about 12 times.
