Finish Kare?

Lol yeas Big Al I will get right on that. FK 425 and OID are the 2 QD I have been itching to try

you won't be dissappointed with FK425, and it's one of the best smelling car-care products you'll ever use. Legacy99 just gave his 2 cents on it ^ ... :up

I bought some 425 last september.. it's been good. I'm halfway through the bottle, and the sprayer part stopped working. I unscrewed it to heck it out, and I've got these weird, large, brownish-blackish, cottony, snotty "strands" floating around and some got stuck in the bottom of the tube, preventing me frm spraying. The weird thing is that I put about 4 oz into a mini-spritzer shortly after I got the 425, and there's nothing wrong with that one.

Should I contact fk to see if they know what it is? It's actually rather gross looking.:nervous2:

just put the remaining amount in another bottle. the megs bottles are good and i could never understand why no one has made a seperate sprayer head (like the megs) like that to be used on different bottles...

Yeah, that sounds weird to me too  I buy stuff like FK425 in multi-gallon lots, and I've never had my FK425 go bad like that.

It sounds like some kind of mold/mildew, which I *have* had happen with some products that're diluted with water...as FK425 is, *AFAIK* mixed from a concentrate prior to sale, maybe something went haywire with that batch.

At first glance I will say no but what glaze are you talking about?? They may have issue with an oily glaze such as RMG or Megs 7 but both would be ok with something like DWG, CG WMF, EZ creme, Prima Amigo etc..

I was thinking RMG or PB WD.

They may bond with zero issue or they may not and you'll loose durability. All you can do is try it and find out. (unless somebody who has already can chime in...) If your looking for a filling glaze maybe try Prima Amigo. Both 1000p and PW should bond with zero issue.

Guess I have some testing ahead of me. Thanks for the suggestions.

I got my sample pack in about ten days ago and did the Bimmer up last Thursday. Excellent set of products. I used some of them in the past and wanted to try more of there line. Really like there Interior cleaner. I usually use 303 Aerospace and I like Finish Kare better. Their car wash is excellent also. Odd smell to it in the bottle, but once mixed with water smells nice and very good in the sud department and slickness department. Cleans very well overall.

Nice deal Big Al. I hope to use 2180, Hi Temp and Pink Wax on my friends newly painted (6 months ago) 70 Mach 1. The bottle says 108 can be used on leather? Does anyone use it to condition leather seats? Also says good for engine, I guess a gallon of this has so many multy uses it may be the way to go. I cleaned my interior and will be using 108 on one half the dash and the passenger side door panel and Meg #40 on the other side to compare them both.
