No, just the D300 and cutting disc. I wanted to use BFWD for a sealant and applying it on top of the D301 would hinder the durability of the BFWD.

I know you have limited experience, but in your opinion, your ability to move from the D300 to the BFWD, is that a testament of the D300's ability to finish down or is it more of a characteristic of the Ferrari paint?

I never said I went from d300 staight to BFWD, you definitely have to polish afterwards. M205 on the tang pad or black pad worked good on this ferrari.

I was planning on doing a correction to my own car with either the 105/205 combo or the DA system then top it off with BFWD. Why is it that the D301 hinders he durability of BFWD? Are there other finishing compounds that are "better" than others to use with BFWD? Which ones should I stay away from?

well if you notice that d301 is actually a finishing wax. And Im assuming that its durability is only going to last as long as any of there other waxes. So with that being said. You never put a sealant on top of wax, only wax on top of sealant. If a sealant is applied over the wax it will degrade as fast as the wax underneath. Make sense?

Makes perfect sense. I just didn't think of D301 being a finishing wax (even though it says so on the bottle ). For some reason I was thinking it was more of a finishing compound. I have not looked that much into the new DA system as I just bought the 105/205 combo with pads about a month before the DA system was really offered on PAC's site. I will be getting my hands on some before the end of the summer hopefully. Thanks.
