Whats the favorite here to remove swirl marks.

ex: Menzerna Intensive Polish, Meguiar's Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner, 3M Fine Cut Compound, etc

Depends how bad the marring is and how hard the paint is. *I* like 1z Ultra followed by 1Z PP. Or 3M's PI-III RC followed by their MG (05933 and 05937).

I've only used Menzerna IP/FP and 3M SMR 39009, and out of the 2 I prefer the Manzerna by a long shot.

Which of these products is the easiest to use? How do they compare to DACP in usage? Sorry for the threadjack.

1Z is the easiest stuff *I* have ever tried. Their PP is a little milder than DACP their Ultra is a bit STRONGER than DACP.

Poorboys Super Swirl Removers are very good and simple. #3 most agressive and progress to his polish and sealant. Excellent results from my amatuerish efforts.

#85 Diamond cut, wool pad on rotary LOL, no I'm kidding!

Serious though, usually DACP with polishing and or cutting pad, followed SFP. I like this combo alot on a PC. .I havn't tried it on a rotary, because I don't have a rotary and I need to get a rotary! 91

DACP via Rotary or PC depending on the level.

PC from that point on with a polish pad and SFP followed by #81 Hand Polish and/or VMG or Car Polish Final Polish.

Sometimes I'll substitute 3M Perfect-It III for SFP, but still use one final glaze prior to protection.

I have used #85 and a wool pad on a rotary

Can,t see anything wrong with that.

you just got to be carefull

Works great on heavy scratches

I'm really a fan of Menzerna FP. Just tried it out for the first time a couple of weeks ago on my BMW and S2000 on an orange pad with my PC - absolutely outstanding. Easier to use and at least as effective (if not more effective) than 3M SMR, 3M Finesse-It II, and DACP.

One of the best things I've found about Menzerna is that it does not stain trim and it doesn't make my pad black if I accidentally touch the rubber around the windshield or the sunroof.

Mild swirls Menzerna IP or Light Cut, 3M PIII.

Uglier swirls may get the Menzerna PG or Hi-Temps Magnum

The finer stuff can be done away with either Menzerna FP or Light Cut with a Cyclo.

"heavier" swirls - 1z Ultra,

"moderate" swirls - Menzerna IP and

"finer" swirls - Menzerna FP.

All done with PC and I have found them to be effective and user friendly ( havent encountered the infamous "Gluzerna" issues ).
