3m Perfect it III Rubbing Compound for the heavy stuff and Perfect it III Machine Glaze for the lighter stuff. I use the PC but these work great by hand. I have used the Rubbing Compound by hand and got a ready to wax/seal finish with no need to step down to a lighter product. No fillers in these either.
I've been using Poorboy's SSR2 with some great results. It is a bit milder than DACP. For deeper swirling, you may have to step up to a rotary and SSR3 or Meg's Diamond Cut.
Yeah, it pays to recognize when you need a high-speed polisher. There are some jobs, on some paints, that are beyond hand/PC techniques. And there's some marring that you really oughta just live with rather than thin the paint too much.
